You can imagine my awe standing in a library surrounded by books. Habits we form as children can become life-long. Yes, my love of libraries remains. I am delighted to introduce my grandchildren to something I enjoyed so much as a child.<br /> Diane, I always appreciate your comments. But once I reached my twenties I caught the bug and have never stopped. I never go to the library, but would be very disappointed to find it as noisy as you have indicated. I prefer to keep the books I read if I have enjoyed them and I like to be able to loan them to others. I often re-read certain books and want them there if I take a notion to read them. I'm afraid if I took a book out of the library I wouldn't have time to read it during the time I had it and would likely forget to get it back on time. But the library is a wonderful source for those who don't necessarily want their own copies. It's good you are teaching your grandchildren at such an early age.Diane Stephensonhttp://diane-stephenson.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6198775415610533309.post-82933542905600119542012-03-26T08:07:56.915-06:002012-03-26T08:07:56.915-06:00Thanks, John! Thanks, John!Phyllis L Humbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05105378189298379668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6198775415610533309.post-84830208430378026122012-03-26T06:07:52.250-06:002012-03-26T06:07:52.250-06:00You must have followed in my foot steps, what a br...You must have followed in my foot steps, what a brother I must be keep up the good work.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
